Český Krumlov is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful towns in Europe and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Český Krumlov Castle, today the second largest in Bohemia, belonged to the Lords of Rosenberg, an aristocratic South Bohemian family, more powerful than the Emperor at the time. Český Krumlov boasts unusually well-preserved architecture representing the power and glory of this family.
